Diamond in a potato – Art in food
Step by step illustration, how to make a diamond in a potato.
Food art – There are certain situations in which the way food looks is actually more important than how it tastes. I know!! Some people may have a hard time believing this, but it’s true.
Food styling is the art of arranging food so that it looks tasty and fresh. This is important in a number of situations, particularly when the food is being photographed. For instance, the pictures of food that you see in cook books, magazines, advertisements, and menus have been styled.
Professional food stylists have several tricks up their sleeves to make it appear as delicious as possible. Here I am showing a trick how to make a diamond in a potato.
Cut the potato into a cube shape.
Make a slit on the side in an angle, but not so deep.
Here I am showing the depth of the cut with a piece of plastic board.
Do it evenly towards the other side from the same cut.
Do the same evenly towards all the four sides. Repeat the process to all the four sides of the cube.
Your diamond is ready!!!!

Point 1. How fast did the mining process work that the potato didn’t change its color.
Point 2. Its a masterpiece
Point 3. It looks like a tough job. I will need to rerestudy this post
Haha point 1. This mining takes only 5 minutes, at the most 10 minutes.
Point 2. Thanks for the compliment. Once finished you too will get the same(compliment). It’s bit like a chain reaction??
Point 3. It’s not a tough job. If I can do it any body can do it!! In your next case study you will do it, I am very shure, if you follow the instructions carefully.
