Ricotta spinach tortellini with Makhani sauce.
Make this ricotta spinach tortellini with makhani sauce, which is inspired by fusioned flavours. Tortellini tossed in a spiced creamy sauce.
If you go to a good restaurant you could see they have used many techniques to embellish the dish to stimulate your appetite. One of the main components of this food styling is the focal point of your plating. That is where mainly our eyes get attracted. It can be either in the centre, or on the sides of the plate. Here in this simple recipe I am showing these with Ricotta spinach tortellini with Makhani sauce.

1) I must comment that I have never had the wit to serve pasta with a curry sauce – this is something I will rectify immediately …. it is obviously delicious. 2) You have really made me reassess the plates presented to me when I dine out. The care that goes into that eye-candy on a plate. I love learning from you and 3) I have recently made far more effort at home in presenting food prettily and it does absolutely make a difference to the overall enjoyment of a meal. Thank you – you have enhanced my life threefold today!

Thank you Dolly for that amazing bouquet of words!! Creativity is just connecting things. We all do the same, just connect things!! Try it Dolly its so easy.
Yeah right! I showed it to my husband since he is the one who usually makes creative fruit platters, and he was just as much in awe as I was! But you are right, creativity means connecting things in a new and unexpected manner. It also means skills to do it, though.
Yes Dolly, practise helps us doing it. First we could find it hard, but later it’s easy and we will enjoy what we are doing. You will enjoy it more over like a hobby. Happy to know your husband too like these. Say my hello to him.?
I will, thank you!
Wow…!! Great presentation….!!!
Thank you Remya:)

Sumith – to be onest, if we came to your Restaurant and were presented with this beautiful dish, I would find it hard to eat actually – because it meant I would have to destroy your beautiful plating! 🙂

Thank you Deb for this beautiful words.
Bookmarking this page for both the presentation (need to impress my Japanese daughter-in-law ?) and your sauce. Your site is truly inspirational! Am I right in supposing I could substitute the soaked ground cashews with cashew butter? Lazy me…
Thank you Joell. Cashew paste could be better to bring the sauce into right consistency, colour of the dish and mainly taste of the dish?would recommend to add little butter on top. Name of the sauce itself is butter sauce.(makhani sauce) makhani mean butter.
Thank you ? Will also make sure I impress my guest(s) by naming the sauce correctly!
?:)
